Translated as “Grand Beach” in Gaelic, Traigh Mhor is a five year old American Single Malt Whiskey, then finished for eight months in French Tawny Port casks. For those fans of both Scotch and Brandy, this is right up your alley! It has all the malty sweetness, oak and spice of a Scotch (minus the peat) and just a hint of Brandy essence from the Tawny Port influence. We produced only four barrels, which is just under 1000 bottles.
